"In 2006 and 2010, we commissioned Shelvex to provide solutions to major storage and shelving problems in two rooms. In 2006, in a terraced house in east London where space is at a premium, we had to convert a third bedroom into a study-library. Shelvex produced an excellent, attractive solution that enabled us to store our extensive collections of academic books efficiently. It transformed a disorganised collection of books into a research facility. In 2010, Shelvex dealt with the problems of storage in a dining room that had fallen into disuse. The room has now been transformed into a dining-entertainments room. We have space for dining for several guests as well as for the storage of extensive collections of DVDs, videos, CDs, a large collection of classical music on vinyl, together with the means to play all of these items. "Shelvex did us proud. They lined up one wall with moveable shelves, and constructed two desks with shelves and spaces for computers. All came out looking exactly as in the advertisement in the newspaper colour supplement that had made us contact Shelvex in the first place. The plans were drawn up during one visit to our apartment, and a few weeks later, the shelving was constructed in the apartment in a few hours. The shelves are ingeniously help up by movable supports, so that they can be adjusted to accommodate various sized books or ornaments or files as needed.
